Shmuel

Shmuel is your typical market-style restaurant that offers a limited selection of daily-made fresh kebabs using ingredients from its market. After Shmuel operated a tiny booth for several years in the main aisle of the Carmel market, providing a variety of grilled meats inside either pita or baguettes, the little restaurant was established. The restaurant specialises in serving its famous beef and veal kebabs as well as mixed inner parts cooked in Jerusalem style with eastern spices. Because of the few seating options around the kitchen, you will need to join the line if you want a spot! Otherwise, eat it like real street-food.
